The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it's alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to read more access SASSA services.

“This really is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people here who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to status sassa Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
